JOBS AT PET STORES |
| If
you're interested in getting hired at a pet store, there's
nothing like experience to get your foot in the door. Having
pets of your own, especially exotic ones, helps. However,
the best thing you can do is volunteer at a pet store first.
You'll know if you like the work, your supervisor could
be a relevant reference, and you'll save the store the extra
hours required for training. It can be a fun way to fill
out your graduation volunteer hour requirements. Stores
can only hire new people when someone leaves or during expansions,
whereas volunteers are always welcome :) |
